Pre-Production- 2D Sketches, Clay Models , Storyboards & Animatics was done and it took about 2 months till we were satisfied.
Character Design- 2D & Clay designing was done & we were clear about the look and story, so we jumped to Maya and did Polygon Modeling.
Texturing - Texturing was done using Photoshop painting & Maya, Texturing artist was provided with the sketches and paintings of the characters that we did in pre-production.
Lighting/Shading- We used Maya Lights, and for the skin shading we chose Sub Surface Scattering and rendered with Mental Ray.
Rigging - Rigging was done in Maya.
Animation - Animation was done in maya according to the animatics.
Rendering - We rendered Beauty, Specular,Depth & Occlusion Pass at 960 by 540 resolution.
Compositing - Eyeon Fusion was used for Compositing.
Editing - Final Cut Pro was used for Editing and final output.
